Controlled Force Level 4 - Environment Control Training
Level 4 training prepares the operator for armed close-in combat and enables the operator to escalate the level of force needed to respond to deadly encounters. Learning to maintain control of the environment they must operate in will be the main focus of the drills. The training also introduces the disengagement / sidearm presentation / re-engagement process for dealing with an armed combative. The ground handgun deployment category trains operators to draw and fire from various positions on the ground and then re-gain a position of advantage, or standing position.
