Dwight Heseman

Dwight Heseman graduated from Missouri Southern State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with an emphasis in Social Science.  After college, he was appointed to the Missouri State Highway Patrol and served in that capacity for 31 years.

 During his tenure with the Highway Patrol, Heseman attained the rank of Lieutenant and was an Assistant Director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control, managed grants for the Field Operations Bureau, and was a District Lieutenant at Troop F, in Jefferson City.  Heseman also served on the SWAT team in the Kansas City area for 8 years and was the coordinator and supervisor for the SWAT Team in the Jefferson City area, for three years. 

Heseman was also an Associate Staff Instructor for the United States Department of Transportation’s Commercial Motor Vehicle Drug Interdiction Program and has taught Criminal Interdiction to hundreds of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies throughout the United States and Canada.
